ENTER THE BAREFOOT STATE OF MIND:

This a place like no other. Passing through the gates of NAY PALAD, you leave the real world behind.
It begins when we greet you at the airport. As our custom-made jeepney, a lounge on wheels, whisks you and your companions across the isle, past jungles and villages of easy-going people, always ready with a smile, you begin to sense what my family and I discovered a long time ago.

The birthplace of barefoot luxury, Nay Palad Hideaway nestles between ancient mangrove forests and the soft white sands of Siargao. In easy reach of tropical jungle, underground caves, untouched beaches, deep-sea fishing and the legendary Cloud 9 barreling wave, Nay Palad Hideaway lets you create own rhythm, turning each day into a different story. It’s an experience of hospitality, freedom and beauty that can never truly be described—only shared.

NAY PALAD HIDEAWAY offers a level service beyond compare. It’s a reflection of our philosophy: Small is beautiful. It’s a philosophy that differentiates us, focuses us, enables us to attend to every detail of your every request. Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or the tenth, prepare for an experience of hospitality, freedom and beauty that can never truly be described – only shared.

BAREFOOT LUXURY:  You never need a wallet at Nay Palad Hideway. No checks are signed here. Every drink or delicacy you desire, every adventure you seek, every massage you require, is simply yours for the asking. Around-the-clock attention? As you wish. Total privacy? Just say the word. Barefoot luxury is a made-to-measure experience. There’s just one thing we ask in return: Treat this palm-fringed paradise as your home, and let us make your dreams come true.

THE PERFECT DAY:  At Nay Palad Hideaway, every day is a new story. And you’re the writer, in charge of the tone, style, pace and plot. In fact, the only limit may be your own imagination. Fortunately, our adventure manager, Sean Hartley, has endless suggestions. Kayaking through ancient mangroves? Exploring the island by motorbike? Sailing? Surfing? Diving? Let Sean and his team create excursions tailored to your dreams.

You can adjust the pace of your story with long massages, holistic treatments, yoga, meditation or a book by the pool. And don’t forget: Fabulous boats, complete with captain and crew, are ready to take you to the jewel-like uninhabited islands and pristine beaches nearby. No matter how long your stay with us, you’ll never have writer’s block.

SIARGAO – THE ISLAND AT THE END OF THE WORLD
There are more than 7,000 islands in the Philippine archipelago, but there’s nowhere on earth quite like Siargao. A nature lover’s dream, this laid-back isle, home to the epic Cloud 9 barreling wave, perches at the edge of Asia, its eastern coast just a few kilometers shy of the Philippine Deep, a vast ocean trench that is one of the deepest spots on the planet’s surface. Tropical jungles, underground caves, coral reefs, secluded beaches, legendary deep-sea fishing and some of the world’s best surfing are just a few of Siargao’s charms. And here, too, nestled between ancient mangrove forests and its own private bay.

MAKE IT YOURS:  As our guest, you’re invited to make Nay Palad Hideaway your own. It’s our pleasure to help you do so. That means tending to your every need, of course. But it also means giving you the freedom to feel at home. Whether you’re planning a family holiday, honeymoon, small wedding, corporate event, surfing trip or yoga retreat, allow us to tailor the hideaway to your desires. This freedom to feel at home, you’ll soon discover, is the essence of barefoot luxury.

A MADE-TO-MEASURE EXPERIENCE:
The barefoot state of mind is a place of supreme ease. Forget your worries. Get back in touch with yourself. When you find out what your heart desires, just let us know. Whether it’s absolute privacy or around-the-clock attention, we’ll arrange it. Whether non-stop adventure or total relaxation, we’ve got you covered. Dinner in a tree house? Watching a movie by the pool? Just say the word.

BAREFOOT LUXURY IS SUSTAINABLE LUXURY:
Created together with celebrated designers Jean-Marie Massaud and Daniel Pouzet, NAY PALAD HIDEAWAY is an oasis of sustainable luxury, where local traditions and timeless beauty combine with the highest contemporary standards of comfort, sustainability and social responsibility. Whether you’re watching cinema in the pool, sipping an after-massage tea in the spa nest, or joining the chef for a lesson in the kitchen, nature always surrounds you.

IN HARMONY WITH NATURE:
Our connection to Siargao’s culture and ecosystem influences everything we do. Seamlessly integrated with the environment, the hideaway has been constructed by master Filipino craftsmen using only local materials and the finest modern amenities. Our therapists at the spa and fitness retreat specialize in Hilot massage, a Filipino wellness practice that encourages physical and mental harmony. The bath and body products in your villa have been sourced with sustainability in mind – they won’t leave a trace on the water table.

SPECTACULAR SPA:
A truly unforgettable spa is about more than just world-class treatments. It’s about space, ambience, mood. It creates a sense of peace and well-being that penetrates deeper than any treatment can alone. That’s why we’ve lavished so much love and creativity on our new spa village. You simply have to experience it. And when do – when you’re sitting there in the treetop nest, sipping your post-treatment tea – you’ll know exactly what we mean.

LET US MAKE IT YOURS:

But it also means giving you the freedom to feel at home. To walk into the kitchen, for example, and see what’s cooking. To drop by the pool bar and mix yourself a drink. To wander the garden, studying the local flora, or climb the treehouse for bird-watching. This freedom, you’ll soon discover, is the essence of barefoot luxury.
