DINING

Amanyangyun’s five dining venues – Chinese restaurant LAZHU, Italian restaurant ARVA, hotpot restaurant YIN LU, The Bar and The Cigar Lounge – each enjoy a distinctive ambience. From fine dining to relaxed alfresco meals, guests can expect the freshest, locally sourced delicacies wherever they choose to dine.

Lazhu  –  Amanyangyun’s elegant Chinese restaurant paying homage to the original home of the resort’s camphor trees and Antique Villas. Lazhu serves a menu combining Jiangxi or ‘Gan’ signature dishes known for their creativity and use of spices, fish and tea oil, and local Shanghainese and Cantonese favourites. The main dining room overlooks a bamboo grove, while seven private dining rooms offer garden views.

Arva   –  A lakeside Italian restaurant with a warm, convivial atmosphere, Arva draws inspiration from Italy’s farm-to-table cucina semplice gastronomic tradition. Celebrating ingenuity and creativity, Arva balances authenticity and sustainability to create timeless dishes that prize flavour and quality above all else. The menu features wholesome Venetian and Roman classics and a range of signature sharing platters ideal for enjoying family style. Breakfast is served at Arva for in-house guests.

Yin Lu  –  Named after the traditional pots that historically warmed Chinese homes, Yin Lu is set in a bamboo grove with lakeside views of Amanyangyun’s magnificent camphor forest. Light-filled and convivial, with an elegant minimal aesthetic, Yin Lu celebrates the Chinese tradition of hot pot in Cantonese style. Meat, vegetables and seafood, including abalone, grouper and lobster, are cooked in steaming silver pots of broth that rest in the middle of each table.

The Bar  – The Bar is an ideal place to sit back and enjoy a drink anytime between noon and 1am in the morning. As well as afternoon tea, it offers an extensive drinks list including rare spirits, fine wines, craft beers and a range of classic and signature cocktails.

Cigar Lounge –  With its floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic garden views, a specially designed cabinet displaying an extensive cigar selection, and an exclusive menu of premium drinks and light meals, the Cigar Lounge is a welcoming venue for cigar aficionados and those seeking quiet time out alike.
