Each of our villa suites is housed within one of the 27 spacious private designer Jamaica villas that are tucked into the hillside and overlook Round Hill Bay. Each suite features an air-conditioned bedroom and ensuite bathroom along with an open-air living room or veranda. Guests staying in a villa suite have use of the semi-private villa pool and your villa housekeepers can prepare you a made-to-order breakfast each morning, if desired.

OCEANFRONT ROOMS

Impeccably designed by Ralph Lauren to evoke a crisp, clean Caribbean ambiance, the oceanfront rooms at Round Hill are as stunning as they are comfortable. Cool, white stone floors, romantic, four-poster mahogany beds and sumptuous, upholstered furniture from the designer’s Home Collection ensure every guest’s comfort, while spacious bathrooms featuring deep soaking tubs, freestanding rain showers and double vanities add an extra level of luxury. All 36 guestrooms boast unbelievable views of Round Hill’s bay and underwater reef, and are steps from the main infinity pool and white sand beach. Upper level ocean view rooms have towering cathedral ceilings and large, louvered windows that fold back to expose the turquoise sea, while lower level patio rooms feature quaint, secluded balconies that make a perfect spot for morning coffee. All rooms are outfitted with a king or two double beds, and many of the rooms feature connecting doors making them perfect for families with children.

DINING

RESTAURANT –  Round Hill enchants guests and tempts palates with an abundance of dining pleasures. Our James Beard award-winning Executive Chef, Martin Maginley, and his talented team showcase the finest local ingredients in a variety of custom-crafted dishes inspired by Jamaica’s bounty and the cultural influences that continually evolve the palate of this region. Recognized with Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” in 2020, Round Hill’s impressive and eclectic wine list compliments the modern Caribbean cuisine featured throughout our dining venues.

BREAKFAST – Rise and shine each morning with a hearty, healthy breakfast served in the restaurant, highlighting fresh Jamaican fruit, made to order omelettes, custom-blended smoothies, and a variety of traditional Jamaican dishes. If you’ve booked a villa, enjoy a cooked to order breakfast by your dedicated housekeepers on your private terrace as you enjoy coffee or tea and sweeping views.

BARS – Midday, venture to the Seaside Terrace or the Beach or Pool Bar for an informal yet delectable lunch featuring a variety of fresh salads and wraps or indulgent burgers and pastas. Wash it down with a Red Stripe or a Rum Punch and settle back into your beach chaise for a heavenly nap.

Afternoon Tea is served in the lounge, and showcases traditional finger foods such as cucumber sandwiches, fresh fruit and an array of fine desserts. Mingle with guests and enjoy shade from the afternoon sun as you delight in a selection of teas, chilled water and coffee.

Evenings at Round Hill are an occasion to dress in casual, elegant island fashion and truly enjoy your nightly dining experience. Depending on the evening, you may dine al fresco by the moonlit sea on our Seaside Terrace, savour the flavors and show of wood-fire cooking in the open kitchen at The Grill, or go barefoot in the sand on our torch-lit beach for one of our special dining events.

SEASIDE TERRACE – On Monday evenings the beach comes alive with our traditional Beach Barbecue featuring a tantalizing array of delicious fare. Guests enjoy a fun evening of informal, yet candlelit dining created for lasting memories. (shorts are allowed, barefoot elegance preferred).

Friday evening is surely the highlight of the week, reserved for a celebration of Jamaican food and culture with the best of real Jamaican delicacies. An authentic floor show is sure to delight all generations of guests. (Please note – the floor show is offered on a seasonal basis, however, live entertainment is always available on Friday evening.)

THE GRILL – The Grill is our rooftop restaurant located above the bar and terrace, offering panoramic, seaside views and ocean breezes. The décor is in keeping with our classic aesthetic of relaxed luxury. The simplistic, whitewashed décor is accented with black and white wood cut prints by Jamaican artist, Albert Huie, adding a touch of historic perspective to the dining experience.

The Grill features the only indoor, wood-fired grill on island, using local, indigenous logwood. The wood imparts a touch of smoky richness and is used in a mixture of torched wood for earthy flavour and sweet wood to round out the finish. The open kitchen allows guests a glimpse of the busy chefs as they prepare the evening’s meal.
