Our refined camp is more than a hotel. Constructed in between all of the trees and hidden from afar, it captures the imagination of those who aspire to a truly unique experience that allows them to enjoy the essence of Bali’s untouched natural surroundings in personalize and stylish comfort. Capella Ubud, Bali offers twenty-two one-bedroom tents and one two-bedroom lodge; all with private pools.

TERRACE – Our one-bedroom Terrace tents have large outdoor decks, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, and unspoiled views. All have outdoor dining areas, oversized daybeds, and private pools. Guests have exclusive access to the “Officer’s Tent” living room as well as the tailored service of a Capella Culturist 24 hours a day.

RAINFOREST – Our one-bedroom Rainforest tents have large outdoor decks, indoor and outdoor bathrooms and unspoiled views. All have outdoor dining areas, oversized daybeds, and private pools. DINING

Inspired by the spirit of discovery, our Ubud restaurants add an unexpected twist to traditional flavors, influenced by the jungle setting and local heritage. Seasonal, sustainably farmed ingredients are the priority at Mads Lange, while Api Jiwa cooks up intimate, authentic Asian barbecue food. Enjoy comforting camp snacks around our Camp Fire, as you listen to live storytelling or a nostalgic film.

MADS LANGE – Mads Lange is our camp’s split-level dining room named in honor of the famous Danish spice trader and peacemaker of Bali Mads Johansen Lange, nicknamed ‘The White King of Bali’. The focus is on seasonal and sustainable dishes created using locally farmed ingredients and influenced by the historical spice trail.

API JIWA – Inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘fire to the soul’, our chefs at Api Jiwa create exciting Asian barbecue food served in an intimate, lively atmosphere. Sit at the Robatayaki grill or at the private dining table for contemporary bites influenced by nose-to-tail cooking, created just for you.

MORTAR AND PESTLE BAR – The poolside Mortar & Pestle Bar is at your service with light and refreshing snacks alongside a wide range of cocktails, a menu curated to reflect the harmony of Mother Nature’s ingredients and sounds, handcrafted using traditional methods.

CAMPFIRE – The Camp Fire invites you to spend an evening under the stars, relaxing around the fire and listening to fascinating tales shared by a local storyteller over camp favorites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. Some nights the Camp Fire will host silent black and white movies depicting Bali during the 1800s, on other nights you will be serenaded by our jungle orchestra.

PRIVATE DINING – Bespoke private dining can be arranged on request, ranging from candlelit dinners to private picnics at superb locations and entertaining boutique groups.

KELIKI GARDEN  – Our organic gardening initiative reflects our respect for the environment and the food we fuel our bodies with. Hand-harvested with love are an incredible array of indigenous vegetables, spices, herbs, and freshwater delicacies including crayfish and tilapia. Our culinary maestros celebrate them as star ingredients, while Auriga’s therapists highlight their healing properties in traditional wellness treatments. Further reducing our ecological footprint are our gardeners, who turn green and food waste into compost as replenishment for our garden soil. Armed with boots and a hat, visit our Keliki Organic Garden and be acquainted with our thriving seasonal ingredients. Cocooned in the rainforest at the heart of our camp, Auriga is an oasis for guests to indulge in bespoke treatments and rejuvenate among nature. THE ARMOURY – For guests seeking more active pursuits, we have The Armoury, our state-of-the-art gymnasium tent. Book a personal training session or join a Pilates, Yoga or Barre class. Our Adventure Wellness programming embraces the camp’s position in the rainforest for guided group activities such as boot camps, aerial yoga, mountain bike trails, and jungle hikes.

SPIRITUAL WELLNESS – Chakra Balancing & Prana Healing Our Camp Guru will conduct a full body scan, and then work where your body needs it. He relieves stress in points and helps to create energetic harmony by charging depleted areas with prana and bringing the seven chakras into balance. He works harmoniously to realign and release any blocked energy through bio-energy transfer. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force. The principle of this healing is that physical ailments and illness first appear as energetic disruptions in the auric body, before resulting in physical discomfort. Our camp healer will assess the body’s pranic vibration, diagnosing any imbalance observed. This unique session is intuitively designed to make you feel lighter and energized.

WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Although our camp does not have a dedicated event or meeting venue, we are happy to propose options to suit smaller-scale events, intimate weddings, and celebrations, or camp exclusivity for up to 50 people. Bespoke personal dining can be arranged on request, from candlelit dinners and private picnics to boutique wedding celebrations in one of our tents.
