The lower level has a fully equipped gym with the latest Technogym cardio and weight training equipment as well as a professional catering kitchen and secure garage parking for two cars.

Interior and exterior finishes include contemporary pieces by Arper, Benchmark, Minotti, OKHA, Raun, Royal Botania, and Zanottu. The villa showcases an impressive selection of art by renowned South African artists Dylan Lewis, Lionel Smit, and Colbert Mashile.

THE SERVICE
008 Villa is a full-service villa, offering a private chef to cater to your culinary desires and a butler to seamlessly execute the food and beverage service. The housekeeping and grounds team will ensure that the villa is always kept looking immaculate. The manager/host is on call to plan the perfect itinerary for you – everything from restaurant bookings, excursions, cultural and adventure activities to charters, chauffeur drives, and transfers.

ACCOMMODATION

All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, digital safes, international plugs, USB charging points, Wi-Fi, hairdryers, luxury linens, gowns, slippers and bathroom amenities. TV’s have DSTV satellite channels, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix and Spotify.

GUEST ACCESS
The First, Ground and Lower Ground floors make up the rentable area of the villa with the exception of the staff quarters, managers office and machinery room. The Top Floor is the owner’s personal space, and whilst it is never occupied during a rental, it is strictly out of bounds. This floor is monitored via a separate alarm system and an access clause is specified and agreed to in the rental contract.

HAZARDS
As 008 Villa is a design property, we need to point out potential hazards such as the lack of balcony balustrades and staircase railings as well as drop-offs, voids, unmarked glass, unfenced pond and pools. These hazards are specified and agreed to in the rental contract.

HEALTH
The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff is a top priority and stringent sanitation protocols and precautionary measures are in place. These policies are in line with the recommendations from the World Health Organisation. Please ensure that guests are familiar with the latest COVID-19 Travel requirements for entry to South Africa.

INSURANCE
We encourage clients to take out comprehensive insurance covering the loss of personal effects, personal injury, medical emergencies as well as expenses relating to emergency travel arrangements, cancellations, and/or curtailment of travel plans. Such insurance must cover all force majeure events and other events beyond 008 Villa’s control.
