Villa El Nido is a cozy countryside villa that sleeps up to ten guests, furnished with Spanish and European antiques, and set at the foot of the mountains, this peaceful spot beside the Guadalmina River offers plenty of picture-perfect scenery to savor while relaxing or exploring.
The interior of the house is designed in a traditional Andalusian style which contains the strong local Moorish influence. The sitting and dining room are generous and comfortable for a large gathering and open directly onto the terraces with many shaded areas for relaxing in the canvas and cane furniture.
The 4 main bedrooms are large with generously proportioned bathrooms, with a fifth attic bedroom which is reached via a steep staircase – ideal either for a nanny or two older children and shares a bathroom with a bedroom downstairs.
The villa is surrounded by verdant gardens gently sloping down to the Guadalmina river. There is a large lawn in front of the house idea for ball games. A huge manicured lawn is ideal for the odd ball game, while the many shady terraces are perfect for eating al fresco or enjoying the stunning gardens. A large roof terrace with huge lounging day beds also gives rise to great views, while you can cool off in the private large pool (12m x 7m) tucked away at the rear of the house and surrounded by lush gardens and lawns.
For keen golfers, the house is within easy reach of many of Andalucia’s Championship Golf Courses, including Valderrama, Zagaleta, Sotogrande, Monte Mayor, Los Arqueros, La Quinta and the Marbella Club Resort.
