ACCOMODATION

All of our rooms exude an old-world Parisian elegance which begins with customized leather headboards and antique desks, antique brass luggage racks and chandeliers with polished modern amenities such as Toto heated toilets and heated floors.

All common areas have poetic detail even in its randomness. The blend of old and new is evident at every turn; whether it is a famous Impressionist’s work in that gilded frame in the dining room or the array of random books interspersed with antiquities in the of the salon library, there is something everyone will notice with its layers of meaningful objects. However long you stay, you become part of The Francis House story.

ROOM 2A  –  Southern Exposure Room with a Bay Window Seat Overlooking the Outdoor Pool. An Heirloom Gilded Parisian Full Length Mirror reflects that Bay Window giving a warm glow all day. The original Tufa stone walls with 12.5′ high ceilings give this room an elegant European feel. Sit down and write a note to a loved one on the French Boulle marquetry escritoire, it is an experience in itself.

ROOM 2B  –  Western Exposure Room with an Antique Pullman Rack “Closet” takes you back in time with brass details from old European trains. The original Tufa stone walls with 12.5′ high ceilings give this room a polished and stately style. Sit and write a note to send back home on a Boulle style antique marquetry escritoire.

ROOM 3B  –  Eastern Exposure Room with Mansard Roof Sloped Walls mimics the charming roof attic spaces of French heritage buildings. With 9 foot high ceilings this room with a California King size bed transports you to the Forties with its Art Deco crystal ceiling chandelier. This room has a unique bathroom very different from any in the property because of the characteristics of the mansard roof. It is the owner’s favorite bathroom.

ROOM 3C  – Southern Exposure with Mansard Roof Sloped Walls mimics the charming roof attic spaces of French heritage buildings. With 9 foot high ceilings this room with a Queen bed transports you to Italy with the antique porcelain Capodimonte armed chandelier. Our largest room has a full length gilded mirror from the renowned Saint-Ouen antique market in Paris.

ROOM 3D   –  Western Exposure with Mansard Roof Sloped Walls mimics the charming roof attic spaces of French heritage buildings. With 9 foot high ceilings this room with a California King bed and the only third floor room with a full closet is a room that inspires. An elegant Murano chandelier takes center stage alongside a full length mirror from the famous Saint-Ouen antique market in Paris.
