The Cotton House is a 17 bedroom boutique hotel on the beautiful island of Mustique in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. 

Whether seeking a quiet getaway for two or a family holiday, the Cotton House caters to all tastes. Choose from your own suite with a sea view, one of our cosy cottages or the privacy of our Residence with your own private pool. Whilst at the hotel you can dine at three restaurants, the Veranda for breakfast and delicious dinners, the Beach Café for shoreside lunches and weekly evening events and Basil’s Bar for delicious cocktails and beach bar favourites. You can enjoy drinks from the Great Room or Beach Café bars. Spend your days on the beach or by the pool.

You can also explore the island from the hotel. Choose from riding horses along the beaches, honing your tennis skills at the Mustique Tennis Club, or indulging in a pampering spa treatment. Swimming and scuba diving in the pristine waters, sailing and snorkelling with the turtles in Britannia Bay.

ACCOMMODATION

The Residence – Tucked away on its own hilltop, The Residence is the Cotton House’s private two-bedroom suite. Guests have their own large swimming pool, an outdoor shower, seating areas both indoors and outdoors, a pagoda and beautiful views across L’Ansecoy Bay. Both spacious bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the master bedroom has a large bath. The perfect place for secluded relaxation.

2 Bedroom Duplex Suites – These two-storey suites are located in the heart of the hotel’s grounds and enjoy views of the gardens with glimpses of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and a large private balcony. Downstairs, a separate sitting room, second bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a private plunge pool creates the ideal accommodation for couples sharing or young families.

Deluxe Rooms & Suites – Our beautifully appointed Deluxe rooms and suites all come with ensuite bathrooms, private plunge pools and verandas. Some have extensive sea views across Endeavor Bay whilst others offer spacious separate living rooms with views of our tropical gardens. The private outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxation, sun-worshipping or intimate private dining.

Superior Rooms & Suites – The Superior Sea View Room is a double bedroom with stunning views over Endeavour Bay and neighbouring islands. It features an elevated bathtub, an outdoor shower and a balcony for relaxing and private dining. The Superior suites offer en-suite bedrooms with a separate living room and private balcony bathed in sunshine.  They are located in the gardens of the Cotton House close to all hotel amenities and the main swimming pool.

Cottages – The Cottages are our cosiest rooms full of style and character. The bedrooms feature king-size or twin beds, a dressing room and ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Each room has a sitting area and opens onto a veranda furnished with lounge chairs and dining furniture.

DINING

Veranda Restaurant – The long-established Veranda restaurant, wrapped around the Great Room, is the perfect setting for relaxed hospitality where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and an open bar for drinks and refreshments throughout the day.  The evening sees a transformation into a fabulous setting with small intimate tables or settings for larger private parties.  Inspired by the West Indies, Veranda’s evening menu has been created to take you on a voyage of classic and contemporary dishes using house rubs and delicately spiced marinades.  Diners have a selection of smaller sharing plates or larger main sized dishes to choose from, matched with a tantalising range of flavour-packed sides, all cooked using traditional methods – smoked and grilled over a flame.  Whilst our extensive wine list will keep even the most enthusiastic wine lover happy.

Beach Cafe – For those seeking something a little less formal the Beach Café situated on Endeavour Bay is a relaxed restaurant and beach bar. A perfect place for meeting up with friends in the morning and for long leisurely lunches under the shade of palm trees.  A delicious new menu has been developed with favourites including the Veg and Bean Chimichanga, perfect as a starter to share, followed by the fresh Fish & Lobster burger, Spiced lamb koftas with pomegranate glaze, dukkha and sumac slaw and a homemade flatbread Fattoush salad. For those wanting local flavours, you must try one of the delicious Rotis. The Beach Café is also the only place to have fresh sushi on the island and there are e also some Vegan dishes, the new Quinoa, Coconut and marinated tofu sushi roll is a must for Vegans and non-Vegans alike!  The ever-popular Ice Cream Parlour to create your own Sundae – perfect for children and adults!  The Beach Café is home to Cook on the Sand on Saturday nights, a truly interactive evening dining experience, where the chefs build a fire on the beach and then cook your food over an open flame and create a feast of salads and local dishes as accompaniments.  The Beach Bar is the perfect place for a relaxed daytime drink and on Friday nights hosts Happy hour and a half, one of Mustique’s well known social rituals.

Basil’s Bar – Basil’s Bar is a landmark destination on the island of Mustique where generations of homeowners, guests, fishermen and passing yachts anchor, to watch the sun go down and enjoy the local vibe. Trademark thirst-quenching cocktails and a delicious shoreside bar menu of freshly grilled fish & lobster in season, to burgers and pizzas, are available daily from 12 pm onwards.  Basil’s is open from 10 am -late daily for Lunch, Dinner & cocktails.  Happy Hour happens every Thursday between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Watch one of Mustique’s iconic sunsets while enjoying 50% off selected cocktails, wines & spirits.  Basil’s world-famous Wednesday night Jump up is an evening not to be missed and Sunday Sunset Sessions is an opportunity to have dinner as the sun sets while listening to a variety of local musicians, the perfect way to end a week.

Spa

The Cotton House has partnered with Bamford to bring you a range of treatments that nurture the mind, body and spirit. Bamford’s holistic approach is in perfect harmony with our heartfelt connection with nature. Our individually crafted treatments use specially formulated products from the Bamford body and skincare collections, made from natural and organic ingredients certified by the highest standard of the soil association.

Bamford was founded on the belief that we need to be mindful of our connection to the earth, to live consciously, respect nature’s resources and the land that provides for us. Everything that they do, make and craft connects us to nature and our surroundings. 

The Spa has four treatment rooms and a relaxation room with stunning sea views offering the perfect place to unwind after an indulgent and restorative treatment. Alternatively, treatments can be enjoyed in the privacy of your own room or villa by arrangement.
