Just a few minutes stroll from the villa is a natural sanctuary with teak forests, lakes and incredible vistas. Working with the local Hill Tribes in the area we have created a series of unique hikes on nearby Doi Chiang Mountain. Begin hiking in the morning with as the mist envelopes the mountain and end at lunch where a gourmet picnic is served overlooking a breathtaking view of the Burmese mountain range. Novice to experienced mountain bikers will love the wide variety of trails offered. Hop on the Villa’s mountain bikes and go off for a gentle ride along rolling hills or take on a more challenging mountain trail.

CHIANG RAI – Chiang Rai is perfectly located to explore the outstanding natural beauty, ancient settlements, Buddhist shrines, and unique Hill Tribe culture of Chiang Rai province. The province is the original capital of the Lanna Kingdom and is rich in historical significance. The City of Chiang Rai is considered small by Thai standards, but has a unique feel to it. The city is easy to walk in and has many cultural attractions that can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Chiang Rai is a melting pot of cultures made up of many diverse ethnic groups that include Chinese, 9 different Hill Tribes, Indian, Burmese and Thai Yai. The people are very friendly and easy to get to know. Northern Thai people are very helpful and look forward to any opportunity to share their special culture with visitors.
